I spent most of my time at the cookie party keeping Ellie off these stairs. All the big kids were running up and down them laughing and playing - Ellie was mesmerized.

Milestones and other cute stuff

Ellie is learning so much so quickly! It's truly a lot of fun to see her make new connections. Many of the things listed below she has accomplished recently, but others she has been doing for some time. I thought you all would be interested to know what she's learning, but the main purpose of recording these "milestones" is so that her daddy and I can look back someday and remember her different stages. I wish I had started to do this sooner!

-says "Hey Lucy!"
-Climbs stairs in the crawl-climb fashion
-Dances: stomps her feet and giggles
-gives smoochy kisses
-tells us "no" by shaking her head and wagging her finger
-disciplines Lucy using a stern voice, pointed finger, in jibber-jabber language
-can get down from the couch (not head first!) properly
-says "Lucy" when she sees other dogs
-plays keep away
-lifts up her shirt (or yours) when you talk about belly bottons
-knows her facial features and can identify through pointing
-says nose, or something pretty close to it
-understands "all done!" and "more?"
-can "roll it" and "throw it in the oven"
