We've got a Roller!

My conversation with Ellie just now as I laid her down for her nap:

Me: So you've got to learn to trust Jesus. We can't do everything ourselves. We have to trust that he will do some things for us.

Ellie: And, and he will go in the forest?
Me: No, no. For us. Jesus will do hard things for us....
Ellie: So he will go in the woods?

Me: Hehe...no, no. Ellie...

Ellie: Yes! He will go in the woods, stinker!

We'll try again tomorrow.
Also...Josie rolled over today!! She rolled from her tummy to her back, but I'm not going to be surprised if she also rolls from her back to her tummy today. She is so close!

Tag Teamed

Sometimes, when both girls are crying, we're not sleeping, and Lucy tracks mud all through the house, Seth and I just look at each other and laugh. We are so lucky to have one another.

Christmas, Finally!

Playing with Her Christmas Stash

Grumpa gave Ellie a Little Mermaid Vanity. Here she is curling Lucy's hair.

And applying a little hairspray...

and combing her hair with the digglehopper...

a snip here and a snip there...

and the finishing touch: a little nail polish

Josie likes her presents, too. Here she is with her piglet from Grandma Reese.

Rice cereal was a bust.

The Christmas Yuckies

Ellie and Josie are both yucky sick. After breakfast on Monday Ellie threw up twice. Josie still has the same cough she's had since Thanksgiving, so off to see Dr. Crabtree we went! Ellie has pink eye in both eyes, an ear infection, a runny nose, and a cough. Josie has an ear infection and a cough (croup). Both are on the mend, but we've had two consecutive next-to-no-sleep nights. We are hoping for a better night tonight!

Here is Ellie with her puke bucket. It saw no action but she excitedly toted it around all morning.

Our adopted teenage children (our neighbors, the Coulthards) made this video for us!

First poopy in the potty (well, since one time last May)!

Our cute little ragamuffin

At the pediatric dermatologist right after we found out that her "TS" ash leaf was actually a beauty mark! If this picture doesn't just scream, "PHEW!"

"Mommy, mommy! Look! I have a mustache!"

"Oh, you have your camera out...CHEESE!"

Raspberries!
