DISNEY!!!

Here are my iPhone pictures from our Disney trip. More pictures and details to come when I have a chance to upload our camera pictures and type up a commentary :)

Josie found ways to entertain herself.

She was a happy Disney girl...

Ellie was in HEAVEN.

Headed in to see PhilharMagic 3D :) Ellie had never seen a 3D movie and was scared for the first few minutes. After she realized it was an illusion she enjoyed the show.

Daddy/Daughter Dance

Daddy's little date.

Trying to put Josie's shoes on...a frustrating task.

Here are the dance pictures, BUT...

~It makes more sense if you scroll to the bottom and look at the pictures sequentially.~

Some of Ellie's friends from school were at the dance, too. She was thrilled to see twins, Zachary and Landon. After spotting them she treated Daddy like an old shoe.

Dinner was a little much. I think we'll skip that part next year. A restaurant is difficult with any three year old, but SUPER difficult with an excited three year old :)

Daddy wanted to ride in back with his date, but was embarrassed that Mama was so camera happy.

Ready to go!

All dolled up.

After Ellie got her hair curled it was time to open her surprises: a dress, hair flower, and sparkly shoes!

Mama took Ellie to get her hair curled by Ms. Jessica. At first Ellie was pretty excited, but it's hard work for an excited little girl to sit still for so long!

Early in the day Daddy told Ellie that he had a few surprises for her before the dance. She could hardly wait to open her gifts, but it wasn't time yet!

We're Back!

Sorry for not posting recently. We've had a crazy week and a half! Josie's cough was at its worst just before we were scheduled to leave for a VA visit. I packed everything I could for her (antibiotic, steroid, humidifier, inhaler) and we hit the road. I started her on her steroid, which seemed to help after a few days. The girls were incredible travelers. I didn't have a moment's trouble with either on the trip up or back. We had a great visit with family in Virginia and even got to have a sleep over with Grumpa and MawMaw. Josie got really off schedule, which was pretty stressful for mama. After a day home she was back on track. Ellie immediately got sick with congestion, a cough, and a fever of 103.4. She threw up in the toilet and was BEYOND excited about it. Too funny. She stayed home for two days and then finally turned a corner. Now I'm sick, but nearly as bad off as poor Ellie was.

The biggest news from this week is: SO LONG TO PULL UPS!!! Ellie has slept through the night all week in her underwear with no accidents. While we were in VA I noticed that her pull up was dry each morning. So when we got home we decided to go for it. She got up the first night to go potty and didn't make it to the toilet, going pee pee on the bathroom floor. Since then it's been smooth sailing.

I'm frustrated that I can't get this picture to rotate! It's not upside down when viewed in any picture formatting program or even in the containing folder. I don't get it.

Josie is having a major appetite increase. She's been eating over a cup of applesauce and rice cereal in the evenings and yesterday I started feeding her a late breakfast, as well. She's a hungry hippo!

Morning Tea (and hot chocolate) at Lexington Coffee House

We are headed to Disney on the 17th!!! A friend bought these Minnie Mouse hair clips for Ellie and a matching hairband for Josie. To die for.

Hear is Ellie in her sister's headband.
