Josie Wosie

Ellie is a hoot. She's full of great stories and lots of adventure. She recently became fascinated with buttons, and has all but figured them out. There is a big hill near our house that we cut along side of each morning. I guess because it is impressive out of our car window, Ellie has decided that Disney World is at the top of the hill. Every time we drive by she asks, "Disney World is up there?" I finally drove her up to the top yesterday to show her that, alas, it's just the Mountain View Inn. She was one bummed little girl.

Josie is quite the big girl. She is eating a dinner of applesauce and rice cereal every night, and she can really chow down. She figured the eating thing out faster than Ellie, who took a while to figure out how to pull food to the back of her mouth rather than shove it right back out.

January in the south. 65 degrees and sunny :)

Proof that Ellie is crazy about her sister:

Many of these pictures are similar and I swear I tried to thin them out, but each one is too adorable to exclude!

Too Much Fun

This was after I got her to stop crying...once, because of the tennis shoes (not princess slippers) and twice, because she had to take off her crown and put on a helmet.

Already like peas and carrots :)

(Don't worry, Papa, she had a helmet on for the ride.)

Sitting up...for a split second! (Seth says it was due to lucky limb placement.)

Sleeping Through the Night

Wahoooo!!! Weeks of anxiety and dread proved all for not last night as I hunkered down to let Josie cry it out. She slept through the night on her own on New Years Eve, but has since returned to her four hour cycle, including waking at 2:30 am for a feeding. We've concluded that this is out of habit, not necessity. Last night she woke at her normal time and I let her cry. She lasted for about THREE MINUTES (ha!) and then slept for four more hours :)

Braving the cold to jump on the bouncy house.

Dinner with friends.

All clean!

Regression :)

Bed time for our two big girls.

Happy New Year!

Tea Party with Mama.
Where did all the cookies go?

This block was in Josie's lap. Ellie and I looked away for a moment and then looked back to find it balanced on top of her head! Ellie was tickled to death, but I'm pretty sure Josie was thinking, "Where did that block go?"
