Snow White Obsessed
Waking up grumpy from her nap.

Auntie Amy's Christmas present came in the mail! Yay for Snow White!

"Ellie, we have to go for a ride in the car. Pick two or three to play with in the car."

"Sweetie, we can't take all of them. You'll have to put some back."

Licking the spoon!

Showing off for Cinderella.
"Look Cinderella! Look Cinderella!"
She's happy and she knows it!

Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas!
Our trip to Maine was a big adventure. We were very worried about how Ellie would do with such a long haul (1140 miles/16 hours of driving), but the trip up was seamless. We filled our holiday week with lots of family activities and made many precious memories. Here a few highlights:
snow football, snowball fight, snowman building, skiing, snow tubing, snowmobiling (for the guys and Cassidy), cookie baking, puzzles, Sequence, stringing popcorn and cranberries for the tree, and watching our first blizzard. The camera was ready for a few of these events as you will see!
At the top of Shawnee Peak. Seth and I learned that there is a HUGE difference between a black diamond in West Virginia and one in Maine. Therefore, we stuck to the intermediate slopes.

Christmas Eve dinner. I loved the real candlelit chandelier.

Warming up with some hot chocolate after snow tubing. Ellie was a real trooper and went down the hill with her daddy many times.

Snow blowing across frozen Lake Crescent.

Cookie baking with KaKa

Our first day in Maine it snowed 4 inches or so. We got all bundled up to build a snowman, have a snowball fight, and play football.

Joining in the snowball fight.

Nailed Unkie Kip

Drying our things by the fire.
