Deja Vu

Getting bigger! Josie had her 6 month well visit today :) Her height and head circumference are in the average range, but our little bean pole only weighs in at 14 pounds, putting her in the 20th percentile. Ellie is fighting pink eye and a right ear infection, so it was a family trip to see Dr. Crabtree today! GREAT news: Josie has grown out of her milk intolerance! I've been using milk since we returned from Disney and observed no reaction from Josie. Today her diaper tested negative for blood in her stool. She's enjoying a enhanced diet of fruits and veggies, but we are going to introduce them slowly as a precaution since she has shown a propensity for food allergies.

ANOTHER tornado ripped through our part of town! We spent most of Saturday on the alert. This damage came from a 1pm tornado and is located on Georgetown Road and on Candies Creek, both feeder roads to Freewill Rd.

Learning about her civic duty. A little Republican in the making :)

More Disney

Our farewell photo on the last morning.

Two sleepy babies

Day 5
On our last day we went back to the Magic Kingdom for Ellie's breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table. It was absolutely magical and amazing. Ellie beamed, I cried, and Seth was a tad bit misty. Cinderella proved to be a bit intimidating to Ellie, despite her kindness. Thankfully Ellie loosened up at breakfast. Afterwards the three of us hit the rides at the Magic Kingdom and had a great time.

Ellie loves her "sunbrella". She came up with that on her own!

LOVED Philharmagic 3D movie. Ellie was a little scared at first, but loved it once she got used to the effects.

Belle!

Ariel!

Ahhhh! Sleeping Beauty!

Snow White! Her original favorite.

Mama can't handle it!

Inside the castle

"Where is her prince?"

Oh my goodness! There's Cinderella!

Teacups :) A big hit.

Day 4
A camera-less day :( Probably for the best, as the morning was a complete bust! :) We went to the Animal Kingdom and saw very few animals. We wandered around in the 90 degree heat and tried to find fun, alas it was hiding somewhere with the animals. Thankfully we finished strong with a visit to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and dinner at Fulton's Crabhouse - yummo!

Day 3
On day three Ree, Daddy Bill, and Seth went golfing while mama and the baby girls rested some. The hotel had a playground and a lake for us to check out. That evening Seth and I had a looooong needed date night. We visited Downtown Disney and restaurant hopped for appetizers, dinner, and drinks. Then we checked out Cirque du Soliel, which was a B.

Ready for date night!

It was hard to leave this sweet baby behind.

Somebody was feeling a little couped up!

Josie didn't enjoy the playground as much as Ellie.

LOVE that they are holding hands. It is the joy of my life watching the relationship between these two little gals develop. I know that seems silly to say since Josie is so young, but you wouldn't believe the connection these two already have.

Day 2
We spent day two at Hollywood Studios. Unfortunately we left the camera at home :( Ellie got to see more shows. She loved the costumes, dancing, and singing - and of course, knew all of the songs. She saw Beauty and the Beast and Fantasmic. Fantasmic was an amazing take on Fantasia that incorporated lots of other Disney classics. The setting was an enormous rock formation with a moat between the rock and the stands. They sprayed a huge fan of water in the air and projected movie scenes on the water...very neat effect. Ellie was a little scared during the "nightmare" portion of the show, as there was a gigantic dragon and snake on the formation. It was an over-the-top, magical production.

Day 1
Our first day at Disney we went to the Magic Kingdom so Ellie could see the castle. After spending the morning traveling, we finally took the ferry to the park. We had just enough time to eat dinner, ride the carousel, and visit Castle Couture :) for a Sleeping Beauty dress, crown, and slippers.

Pumpkin passed out before we made it back to the room.

Touching the castle!

Mickey and Minnie! We weren't in the Magic Kingdom for more than 10 minutes before a show started right in front of the castle.

Look who else was in the show! Ellie's first glimpse of the princesses!

Mesmerized...
