Milestones

So Josie had her first well visit yesterday! Bad new is she wasn't well :( Big Sis gave Josie her first little virus, thus all of the spit up and fussiness. She also got her first shot and weighed in at 9 pounds! Meanwhile, Ellie is doing really well with potty training. We made her a potty chart so that she can put stickers on it and see her progress. She's got pee pee all figured out and hasn't had an accident in over a week! Poopy is another story...no accidents, but she's not putting it in the potty, either. She holds it until nap time when she wears a pull up. Once she consistently puts both in the potty she gets a little princess scooter (pictured on her chart at the bottom of this post). Keep your fingers crossed!

Chunky Monkey

I guess you can't quite label her a "porker," but lil' Josie is definitely chunking up! Her little, spindly, bird legs have filled out and her cheeks are finally chubby. She's been in her own nursery for a week and is giving mama a 5 hour stretch of sleep most nights. We've also caught a handful of smiles recently!

She seems a little more fussy (too scared to use the term "colic") recently and has had a few periods where she spits up - really, pukes up - more than we'd like her to. These little episodes, accompanied by crying after feeding, make us worry a little bit about reflux. Something to ask Dr. Crabtree about!

Here is Haley the Hippo! She is mama's best buddy, as she keeps my pacifier in at night so mommy does have to make two dozen trips in to replace it!
