Milestone Updates

Bonefide big girl! Ellie is officially potty trained! She wears a pullup at night and that's it! All poopy and pee pee in the potty otherwise! The week we brought Josie home from the hospital Ellie just decided to start pee peeing in the potty. She recently started going poo poo in the potty because we put her pullups on the top shelf of her closet and refused to give her one :)

Today I randomly asked Ellie if she could spell her name and she did! She said, "E L I E!" Okay, missing one letter. She's really into trying to draw and write, but she mainly draws water, which looks like this: WWWWWWWW.

Josie has transitioned to a 3 and a half hour schedule and I plan to push her to four hours tomorrow. Since adjusting her schedule she has a lot more awake time, which is tons of fun. She stays awake for 2 to 2 and half hours at a time. I'm hoping all this awake time will translate in to more sleep time at night. She is still only feeding once a night, but wakes up wanting her binky or needing to be reswaddled pretty frequently.

Reindeer Games

Josie's hair has always been a little comical. Now, after three months of sleeping on her back, it's reach a new level: ridonkulous. The top is still sweet baby peach fuzz and the back is still really thick, well at the bottom, but now she has a sweet bald spot where she rubbed all the hair off. Thankfully she's so stinkin' cute that you barely notice her hair...barely.

Christmas Fuzzies

So this year at Ellie's PDO Christmas program she was "that kid," you know, the one the audience is laughing at. Unfortunately it wasn't because she was singing extra loudly, cutely pulling her dress over her head, or twirling obliviously in the background. No, she was the kid picking her nose (at times, both nostrils at once) during the entire song. I got her attention and told her to put her hands down, but my laughter only encouraged her efforts to touch her brain. At least she was wearing a big smile.

Here are some shots from my attempt to get good Christmas card pictures.

Lovin' her legwarmers from her Gamms. She wore them to gymnastics this week.

And this is probably when Josie contracted Croup.
